There are two kinds of subsidies for charging piles at the central level

1. In November 2014, four ministries and commissions awarded charging facility construction awards to cities or urban agglomerations promoting new energy vehicles. The award range covers 20 to 80 million yuan according to the number of new energy vehicles promoted.

2. 2016.01 The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Bureau give charging infrastructure awards and subsidies to regions with relatively complete charging infrastructure and large scale of promotion and application of new energy vehicles, with the award range covering 120-200 million yuan.

The upper limit of charging pile operation subsidy is 2000 KWH/kW · year; The maximum operating subsidy for a single charging socket is 1000 KWH/kW · year. The subsidy is settled quarterly. Operation subsidy for 3 consecutive years.

2022.04 Chongqing DC pile 150-300 yuan/kW, AC pile 50 yuan/kW

2022.04 Fujian Province provides subsidies for the construction of public charging piles according to different regions, and continues to provide an operating subsidy of 0.2 yuan/KWH for the charging capacity of electric vehicles for newly built public charging piles

2022.11 Guangdong Pearl River Delta region DC pile does not exceed 200 yuan/kW, AC pile does not exceed 40 yuan/kW, East and northwest Guangdong DC pile does not exceed 300 yuan/kW, AC pile does not exceed 60 yuan/kW, charging piles in expressway fast charging stations in various cities shall be implemented according to the subsidy standard in the Pearl River Delta region. Dc pile does not exceed 200 yuan/kW, AC pile does not exceed 40 yuan/kW

2023.05 Shanghai gives a subsidy of 30%-50% for charging equipment, a subsidy of 0.05-0.8 yuan/KWH for charging stations and enterprises, and waives the electricity access engineering fees for operational centralized charging facilities
